1. Information We Do Not Collect
Tinnora operates completely offline and on-device. We do not maintain user accounts, databases, or cloud servers that store your identity. Specifically:
- No Personal Identifiers: We do not ask for or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account passwords.
- No Audio Telemetry: None of the sounds you listen to, mix, or create are ever uploaded or transmitted over the internet.
- No Behavioral or Advertising Tracking: Tinnora contains zero third-party tracking SDKs (such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or AppsFlyer).
2. On-Device Data Storage
All application settings and customization choices are stored exclusively on your local Apple device using native sandboxed storage (UserDefaults and CoreData/SwiftData):
- Tinnitus Pitch Settings: Your matched frequency (e.g., 6.2 kHz), notch filter bandwidth, and Soften/Cover settings stay 100% on your device.
- Saved Mixes & Fader Levels: Your custom 5-channel nature and noise combinations remain locally on your phone.
- Fit to My Ears EQ Profile: Your equal-loudness calibration values are computed and retained locally.
3. Device Permissions & How They Are Used
Tinnora may request access to certain iOS capabilities. Each is used strictly locally:
- Microphone (Optional): If you choose to use the custom loop recorder to capture a soothing household sound (such as your personal fan or rain on your specific window), microphone input is processed purely on-device and saved to local app storage. It is never transmitted.
- Motion & Head Tracking (CoreMotion): If you use AirPods with Spatial Audio, motion data is used exclusively by iOS to anchor sound sources in physical space. No motion data is stored or sent anywhere.
4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions (StoreKit 2)
All financial transactions, subscriptions (Monthly, Yearly, Lifetime), and trials are processed directly by Apple through Apple StoreKit 2. Audio Immersia does not receive or store your credit card information, billing address, or Apple ID. Purchases are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
5. Children's Privacy
Tinnora does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
